Dr. Bill Bucher feels blessed to have a career that can have such a dramatic impact in helping people feel better, be healthier, and look better at the same time. He loves the challenge of staying abreast in an ever-changing field and is committed to staying up to date with the latest technologies and treatments. Over the course of his dental career, he has logged over a thousand hours of continuing education to ensure he is providing his patients with the best possible dental care available today.

Growing up in Overland Park, Dr. Bucher earned a B.A. in Life Sciences and Professional Management from the University of Kansas in Lawrence and his D.D.S. from the UMKC School of Dentistry, Following graduation from dental school, he completed a one-year residency in General Practice and Hospital Dentistry at Truman Medical Center East in Lee’s Summit, Mo.

For the past 10 years, Dr. Bill Bucher has had a special interest in helping people with snoring and sleep apnea, utilizing Oral Appliance Therapy (OAT).

He has extended training in dental sleep medicine, logging hundreds of continuing education hours, to be current and best able to help treat patients.

Dr. Bucher is a member of the American Dental Association , the Kansas Dental Association, the Fifth District Dental Society and Study Club, and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM). He participates in the CEREC Users Study Club and has been involved in several study club/courses involving cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, TMJ treatments , and functional orthodontics. He serves on the Peer Review committee for the Fifth District.
